Now Is The Time

The young woman looked down at her ruby red shoes trying to understand what might have happened. "I could have gone home at any moment. I only needed the time to click my heels together!"

Therefore His brothers said to Him, "Leave here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing. "For no one does anything in secret when he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world."
For not even His brothers were believing in Him.
So Jesus said to them, "My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune."
John 7:3-6


The day came when hostile aliens landed on earth and began to subdue all the humans. Most people panicked, but a computer engineer became very excited. "Think of all the information systems these aliens have developed totally independent of our own technologies! Do they have some version of the internet? What do their communications layers look like? How fast do their processors go?" One of the aliens found out about this engineer and agreed to answer all his questions if he would surrender himself, and he agreed. The engineer learned the aliens had something like the internet, some of the communications layers were combined and some protocols were totally absent. While the alien was still explaining the details the engineer thought to himself, "I suppose I could have guessed most of this would be true. To be honest I don't really care about any of this." In his final moments he regretted surrendering to the alien.
